PlayStation Plus drops 18 more free games for July 2023

Get them while they're hot.

It’s that magical time once more, my friends. PlayStation Plus subscribers, get ready, because Sony has just confirmed a plethora of free games releasing on the service at no extra cost later this month.

Before we get into it, here’s your reminder that the free PlayStation Plus Essential tier games for July 2023 are available to claim right now. In case you missed the announcement, it’s an absolutely stellar month, with Alan Wake Remastered, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Endling - Extinction is Forever all up for grabs. These can be claimed until 31 July, and after that, as long as you have an active PS Plus subscription, you can play them at any time.

Now though, Sony has confirmed the games which will soon be available to those paying for the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus, so without further ado, let’s get into it. From 18 July, Extra tier subscribers will be able to claim: It Takes Two, Sniper Elite 5, Snowrunner, World War Z, The Ascent, Undertale, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, Dysmantle, Circus Electrique, Dynasty Warriors 9, Samurai Warriors 5, My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure, Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R, Monster Jam Steel Titans.

Meanwhile, Premium subscribers will be able to grab: Gravity Crash Portable, Twisted Metal, Twisted Metal 2.

It’s worth keeping in mind that on 18 July, 10 popular games are set to depart from the PS Plus Extra game library, including Stray, Borderlands Handsome Collection and BioShock Infinite, so if you want to quickly play through any of those, you might want to get on with it now.
