It’s easy to simply focus on the many free games that subscribers receive as part of PlayStation Plus, but there are other perks that go largely ignored.

PlayStation Plus isn’t only a handful of games to keep each month, or its extensive game catalogue.

You can try out Cyberpunk 2077 with PlayStation trials

A fair few subscribers have access to a bunch of films courtesy of Sony, but you also get the chance to play over 150 games via the game trials.

The full list can be found on the PlayStation Blog, but it’s safe to say there’s something for everyone on there.

Allow me to put on my old man voice (my usual voice) but back in my day, if we wanted to try a new game we had to get demo discs on the front of magazines.

Once loaded up on our PlayStation, we’d be able to test out the latest games, and this is something that is now digital, like everything else.

Why take a gamble on a new game when you can spend some time with it first, and make sure you’re likely to enjoy it?

With the likes of Baldur’s Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 heading up the AAA selection, you’ll get a taste of some absolute bangers.

There are plenty of indie darlings, too.

Games like KarmaZoo, Rollerdrome, Pepper Grinder, are all here to fly the indie flag.

The trials last for varying amounts of time, with some clocking in a few hours, to really get the idea of what you might buy into.

You might not even be in the market for a new game, and just want to while away an hour or two on something fun, without the huge time sink.

Anyway, head on over to the PSN store and browse around the trials, you might just find your next favourite game.
