PlayStation Plus subscribers are used to all the free games every month, online play, and the game catalogue at higher tiers.

However, there’s more to PlayStation Plus that many aren’t even aware of, and it’s kind of hidden away.

Your PlayStation Plus sub allows you to watch films on your PS5

For this, you need to have access to the most expensive tier of PlayStation Plus, called Premium.

This is the tier that gives you access to lots of great retro games from PlayStation history.

What many fans aren’t aware of, is Premium gives you access to around 100 movies, as part of the deal.

It’s called PlayStation Plus Vide Pass, and gives users a chance to watch around 95-100 films per month, and they refresh on the 1st of every month.

Among this month’s films, fans can watch Gladiator, Kung Fu Hustle, Les Miserables, District 9, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, and House of Flying Daggers.

Lots of players have been shocked to find out that there are some great movies just sitting there, waiting to be watched.

Of course, there are plenty of films connected to games, including a bunch of Final Fantasy films, as well as Resident Evil.

The list goes on and on, with some real gems in there.

Get your eyes on some of these - The Whole Nine Yards, Run Lola Run, Midnight Express, Paprika, Johnny Mnemonic, and Idle Hands.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t aware of this part of the service, so I’ll be diving into the catalogue later today to see what I can watch.

If you’re a film fan, this is a great way to catch up on stuff you’ve missed over the years.

You might have already seen a bunch of them, as there’s not a lot of new releases in there, but it’s worth revisiting some of these bangers as part of your PlayStation Plus subscription.
