PS5 gamers are upgrading their SSDs in the Amazon Prime Day sale and say it has 'transformed their gaming experience'.

In case you missed it, Amazon has slashed the price of its gaming essentials for a limited time only, from consoles and chairs to new releases.

But what you might not have realised, is that the sale is a great opportunity to upgrade your storage.

Until midnight tonight, there's up to 20 percent off PS5 and PC SSDs.

Over the last couple of years, games have rapidly advanced, from more detailed graphics to the use of AI.

"No more uninstalling and reinstalling. It really has transformed my PS5 experience. A bit pricey but worth it."

Another five-star review reads, "As an expansion drive, the 2TB of space has been a game changer, allowing me to store an extensive library of games without needing to juggle or delete existing content."

"A friend suggested this internal PS5 hard drive, and WOW. Best advice ever," a third wrote. "It was surprisingly easy to install (even I managed it without breaking anything), and now everything runs fast, smooth, and without the constant 'not enough storage' heartbreak."
