9 of the best Amazon Prime Day gaming deals you can shop now

In a 2026 where the cost of games, consoles, and other tech is more expensive than ever, Prime Day sales are among the best ways to make gaming affordable, and GAMINGbible has rounded up the best deals so far.

Part of what will be the last Prime Day before the release of GTA 6 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, we’ve spotted offers on top-tier monitors, controllers, and other peripherals to upgrade your setup on a budget before each game’s release date. What’s more, Amazon has marked down some current games to record-low prices, too.

This October’s Prime Day is live now until the end 11:59pm on Wednesday, 7 October. With that, be sure to keep this guide bookmarked, as we’ll be adding updates with more deals as the sale goes on.

9 of the best gaming deals in October 2026’s Amazon Prime Day sale

Grab a 32-inch 4K Samsung OLED at a record-low price

If you’re the type of gamer who plays their PS5 or Xbox on a monitor and wants GTA 6 looking as glossy and high-res as possible, Amazon’s already dealt the best gaming tech offer of the whole sale with £300 off the Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 gaming monitor — now only £599 while stocks last.

Over 33% off its original £899.99 price tag, that’s the lowest price Amazon UK has ever seen for this monitor amongst listings that weren’t for used units.

For that new lower price, you’re still getting exactly the same upgraded visuals for any game you play: 4K resolution up to 250 nits of brightness, with Samsung’s particular brand of OLED technology granting you true black for perfect contrast whilst being glare-free, and still upholding up to 240Hz performance so you can still play high-FPS games without sacrificing fidelity

Perhaps a Samsung Odyssey Gaming G6 will be better for your budget

If the Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 is still costly even with the Prime Day deals, perhaps the Samsung Odyssey Gaming G6 will be more up your alley.

With the sales, you'll save 34%, as the monitor was £299.99, but is now £199.00. Despite that lower price, you're still getting a decent monitor for your home set-up at 350hz.

For those who don't care too deeply about the resolution of their games, it's a cost-friendly alternative, so keep it in mind this Prime Day.

Pick up Dragon Quest VII Reimagined on Switch at its lowest price ever

One of the finer gaming deals we've seen so far is Dragon Quest VII Reimagined on Nintendo Switch, which has plummeted in price to just £30.99. Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is an excellent remake that expands the game's original story and is a must-have for any Nintendo Switch game collector, especially at its current price.

There is a small catch, though. This deal is for the base Nintendo Switch version of the game. Those who want to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 version will not be able to do so for free like with other games, nor will they be able to transfer their progress over.
