It is always a struggle when a game you desperately want to play is not released on your platform of choice.

After all, as a PC gamer, I am going to be sadly watching as Grand Theft Auto VI players get stuck into the game on console many months prior to its PC launch.

However, it is one sad truth of gaming that not all releases will be available across all platforms and that is the case for hit indie game Schedule 1.

Released back in March, Schedule 1 took Steam by storm as the co-op simulation game allowed friends to team up and build their very own drug empire.

Developed by TVGS and only available on PC, Schedule 1 is just one of those games that PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users were desperate to get their hands on.

So desperate that some have fallen for a recent scam.

With its popularity inspiring multiple clones on the PS Store, many have already been taken down by Sony.

However, it seems as though another, titled Schedule 1 - Drug Dealer, has fallen through the cracks.

With cover art very similar to the original game, it is no wonder that some users have made the mistake of purchasing it.

However, a quick glance at the reviews will tell you that this game is not all that it seems.

Not only that but it seems as though some users are even being denied refunds.

That includes GrilledBiscuit over on r/playstation who shared the unfortunate event to warn other players.

“So I guess I should have checked reviews before buying,” they shared.

“This has been an unfortunate loss, I can’t believe they are able to make this the front cover though?

The game is nothing even similar to this art style, but I was tricked by the image, hope no-one else falls for this.”

If you have fallen for the scam, you will need to contact PlayStation Support in the hopes of receiving a refund but in the future, don’t let a pretty image fool you.
