PlayStation users have been given one of their easiest challenges yet to bag some points used for in-store credit.

If you’re signed-up to PlayStation Stars you’ll no doubt have heard the way you earn and keep points is changing soon, which will unfortunately make it harder for you to earn enough for in-store credit.

Astro Bot launches in just two days, have you pre-ordered it yet? What about this awesome special edition controller modelled after the little guy himself?

Fortunately the challenges you can complete are still knocking around, and the latest one is ridiculously easy.

Those who are subscribed to PlayStations Plus can earn 50 points just for downloading one of the latest Essential tier titles.

This includes the latest Harry Potter game, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, MLB The Show 24 and my personal favourite, Little Nightmares II.

Now I’d recommend trying all of the above games, especially the latest Little Nightmares since the third game is coming out next year, but you only have to play one to complete the challenge.

Honestly the new Harry Potter seems to be worth a look despite its connections to J.K Rowling, as it’s been a while since we’ve had a good quidditch game since Hogwarts Legacy strangely didn’t have one.

The only downside to this challenge is you’ll only get 50 points, which is bottom-of-the-barrel in terms of rewards, it’s barely worth anything if you’ve got your eyes set on a big prize.

Every little helps though and you’ll need as many points as you can get your hands on if you want some free gift cards, so it’s all worth it in the end.

The latest PlayStation Plus selection is available now to subscribers of all tiers so check them out, especially Little Nightmares II, I’m not going to ask again.
