If you want to claim a big discount on PlayStation Store credit, which essentially makes some of that credit free, you might want to act sooner rather than later.

In this day and age, it’s especially important to save money where we can. Perhaps even more so when it comes to maintaining our favourite hobbies to distract ourselves from the worldly woes, and it feels like the world is full of woes right now.

Other than watching my beloved Aston Villa and professional wrestling, I probably spend more hours on any given day playing video games, whether it’s on my PlayStation or Xbox consoles. However, as we all know, keeping up with the latest releases and online subscription services is never cheap.

Thankfully, there are great ways to save money on playing a variety of video games, not only with subscription services such as PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass, but also by purchasing store credit that is heavily discounted.

Take Advantage of Big PlayStation Store Savings

Right now, on the online retailer ShopTo, you can buy PlayStation Store credit with massive discounts. Some of these discounts are so big that you’re essentially getting extra credit at no extra cost.

For example, at the time of writing, a £200 PlayStation Store gift card costs just £164.85. That works out to be a hefty saving of £35.15, which can be enough to buy a AAA game on sale, a few games or in-game currency for your title of choice.

What’s more, a £150 PlayStation Store gift card costs £119.85, £100 costs £85.85, £70 costs £58.85 and more. The bigger the card, the bigger the savings. However, there is one obvious catch.

To make the biggest saving, such as the £200 credit that costs £164.85, it still isn't cheap. But if you can purchase that amount, not only will it be great for pre-ordering upcoming games such as Resident Evil Requiem, but you could also put it towards stacking two years of PlayStation Plus Premium.

Conventionally, the PlayStation Store gift cards are digital, so once your payment has been processed, you shouldn't wait too long for the code to drop into your inbox.

It goes without saying (but I'm saying it anyway) that this sale on ShopTo won't last forever, so you might want to claim its PlayStation Store discounts before it’s too late. I might be tempted to pick up a cheaper card if the sale is still on, come payday.
