t’s always nice to save money whenever we’re able to purchase a video game that we’ve been eagerly awaiting, whether we play on PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo.

However, if you game on PlayStation, you may be aware of a rewards scheme called PlayStation Stars. In a nutshell, with Sony’s PS Stars, you will be rewarded with points for completing easy campaigns.

Check out the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga trailer below!

You can earn points by playing select video games, often associated with new PlayStation Plus additions, earning specific in-game trophies or by simply making purchases on the PS Store.

It may take a while to accumulate enough points, but eventually, with some persistence and patience, you will be able to purchase select video games for free via the PlayStation mobile app or claim free store credit worth £5 or £20.

Recently, Sony launched the latest PS Stars campaigns. One campaign in particular is called ‘Your PlayStation Plus monthly games await’ which will reward you with 50 points just for booting up LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach or Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights.

One standout game from the selection above is LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and as cliché as it sounds, it really is fun for all ages and I can wholeheartedly recommend checking it out with or without a PS Plus subscription.

There is also another campaign called ‘PS Plus Game Catalogue: more to explore’ and you’ll earn another 50 points by firing up Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, LEGO Worlds, Journey to the Savage Planet: Employee of the Month or Mortal Shell.

Most campaigns are time-sensitive, so it’s worth completing them ASAP before you miss out on claiming free PlayStation Store credit.
