Ahead of the weekend, Sony has dropped over 1,000 hours worth of free games for you to get stuck into at no extra cost.

Another weekend is finally upon us and considering we are in the middle of some big releases, now is the perfect time to pick up a game you have had on your radar for a while.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the new titles added to PS Plus this month!

Luckily that is now possible for PlayStation Plus subscribers thanks to Sony adding some incredible new games to the service.

Alongside some classic and PS VR2 titles, there were some hit additions including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cult of the Lamb, Wild Hearts, RIDE 5, Watch Dogs 2 and Sword Art Online: Last Recollection.

It goes without saying that The Witcher 3 is one of the best RPGs of all time and with The Witcher 4 now in full development, it is the perfect time to catch up.

Cult of the Lamb is an excellent roguelite which is perfect for the power-mad amongst us and Wild Hearts can see you hunting down monsters in a feudal Japan inspired setting.

These epic arrivals to PS Plus was the boost subscribers needed after feeling quite dejected by the offerings over the past few months.

Over on r/PlayStationPlus, said fans shared their thoughts on the new selection of titles.

“Definitely gonna plat Cult of the Lamb, and it also gives me an excuse to clean up the Witcher plat...but that'll require another playthrough,” one comment read.

Another one said: “I'm so happy with this month. There’s been a lot to play on Extra but some of these are high up on my priority now. (If you're into car games, Ride 5 is quite good.)”

All of the new titles will be available to download from 20 August onwards so don’t miss out on another chance to check out these highly-rated additions.
