PlayStation users will need to start clearing out some of their installed games if they want to play the new Ghost Of Tsushima sequel.
Ghost Of Yōtei comes out in just a few weeks, specifically 2 October for PlayStation 5. It’s one of the most anticipated games of the year and from what we’ve seen so far it looks like it’s going to be a banger.
That said, there’s one small caveat that players will need to be aware of, it’s going to take up a big chunk of storage space.
PlayStation recently shared some details on the game’s release and part of that reveal included its installation size of 85.119 GB. While we’ve definitely seen bigger games, that's still a decent amount of space required, so keep it in mind before you preload the game on 25 September.

It’s to be expected of course because the game is open-world, and compared to Ghost Of Tsushima’s installation size of around 50 GB it’s nearly double the size.
Recently though I was trying to free up some space on my PlayStation 5 by installing games I’ve either finished or don’t feel like playing anymore and found out a huge portion of my storage space was being taken up by something else…
When I was finished I’d gained an extraordinary 200 GB, so it’s a trick worth noting down if your PlayStation 5 storage is also at its limit.
As for Ghost Of Yōtei you can see some of the latest gameplay trailers for the game online, as the last couple have focused on specific weapons you’ll be able to wield throughout the story.

Even better is that DLC has already been confirmed for the game, so even when you roll credits you can sleep soundly knowing there’s more to come.
