Sony PlayStation has just announced one of the most gorgeous pieces of hardware in years to celebrate the launch of the upcoming Astro Bot.
During a State of Play event in May this year, Astro Bot was announced as the next standalone game from the beloved Sony exclusive platforming series. It instantly impressed fans with its cuteness, stunning visuals and not-so-subtle nods to other popular PlayStation franchises such as God of War, Uncharted and more.

If you want more Astro Bot goodness when the game launches about a month from now, then you’re in luck because you will soon be able to pre-order one of the most snazzy limited edition PlayStation 5 DualSense controllers yet.
The Astro Bot DualSense controller is white with the “signature blue accents” of the series on the handles and buttons with stylish sci-fi lines carved in. What’s more, it even features the instantly recognisable blue Astro Bot eyes on the touchpad.
From 9 August 2024 at 10am local time in the UK (it’s also available in other regions), the Astro Bot DualSense controller will be available via PlayStation Direct as well as select retailers. It will also have an RRP of £69.99/€79.99/$79.99.
Hopefully, when pre-orders go live, there will be plenty of stock for genuine fans and it will not fall into the hands of greedy scalpers. Astro Bot and its limited edition DualSense controller will be released for PlayStation 5 on 6 September 2024.
