Rumours regarding the PlayStation 6 continue to swirl online with fans eager to hear how the next PlayStation iteration will improve upon the last.
This makes more sense when you consider how powerful the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro are and how little time we have had with both.
That is why PlayStation users are torn on whether the PlayStation 6 is needed despite rumours that it is already in development at Sony Interactive Entertainment.
Whether we are ready or not, the PlayStation 6 will inevitably arrive and according to a recent report by Tom from Moore's Law is Dead, we now have some more information regarding the PlayStation 6’s specs.

According to Tom, the PS6 will feature a semi-custom AMD APU with next-gen Zen 6 CPU and RDNA 5 GPU cores.
Codenamed Robin, these specs aim to add advanced ray tracing, machine learning and enhanced performance, making it the most powerful gaming console of all time.
As of now, the PS5 and PS5 Pro both include a semi-custom APU from AMD but it is the next-gen Zen 6 CPU cores and RDNA 5 GPU cores that will greatly post its power compared to its predecessors.
The Robin specs are currently in development, according to Tom, and this could refer to either the APU that AMD is working on or the codename of the PS6 handheld which is also reportedly in development.
Either way, Tom provided a list of brand-new details that he has received from a reliable source and they read as follows:
AMD Magnus / Robin / Orion / Canis Console Update:
Of course, it is worth taking this news with a pinch of salt as it has not yet been confirmed by Sony itself.
However, if true, it seems as though the PS6 is about to be one mighty beast of a console.
