Sony has announced that an update is coming soon to PlayStation 5 that will allow you to pair your DualSense controller to more than one source.
Announced over on Twitter, the company has informed players that you’ll soon be able to connect your DualSense to multiple sources, and it has fans happy, as this is something many of us have wanted for years.
What this means, in greater detail, is yet to be seen, as PlayStation has said that we should “stay tuned for more.”

It could very well mean that you’ll be able to register your DualSense to a PC, as well as your PlayStation 5, but no more.
Or, we could see many options available for the controller, like using it on an iPad for cloud streaming or remote play, as well as the previously mentioned hardware.
The update is coming “later this year” and will enhance pairing functionality, which many in the replies are taking as a good sign.
“Yes, please! It'd be great to be able to use my DualSense with Remote Play on my phone without having to re-pair to the PS5 every time!” exclaimed one Twitter user.

Another fan wrote, “Now this is an update I can get behind!”
The DualSense is an incredibly popular controller, and with PlayStation able to stream games or remote play to different devices, fans have wanted a simpler interface for some time, in order to better use the hardware on those other devices.
The same goes for PlayStation owners who also play over on PC, and with the wealth of Sony games making their way to PC, the best way to play is surely with the DualSense.
Hopefully, this update will make things much smoother, and provide versatility for the popular controller.
