Your PlayStation experience is firmly in your hands with this highly requested feature from Sony’s surprise system update.

Not everyone is happy with their PlayStation 5 at the moment.

Despite already needing to prepare ourselves for an outrageous price tag for the PS5 Pro, the price of the PS5 has increased, and, understandably, fans are furious.

Given how sore everyone is feeling about this price hike, maybe you’re not interested in learning of a system update.

But we implore you to try and put your annoyance to one side, at least for now, as this update will vastly improve your experience.

Even more so if you’re a PC player.

Players will now be able to customise their DualSense experience, thus allowing for a better gaming session that feels tailored to your needs.

“Elevate the performance of your DualSense and DualSense Edge wireless controller on your Windows PC. Update the controller’s firmware and fully customise the DualSense Edge wireless controller from your PC,” reads the Sony blog post.

Here’s what’s included in the update:

Starting today PC gamers can unleash the full customizable power of the DualSense Edge controller directly on their computer.

  • "PlayStation Accessories" is the new name for "Firmware updater for DualSense wireless controller".
  • With your DualSense Edge wireless controller, you can now create, edit, and switch between custom profiles on PC.
  • We've made significant improvements to the overall design and user experience.

“Thank you, PlayStation for your support of PC platforms! - on behalf of the PlayStation Nation,” posted Twitter user Gaz.

Another user commented, “Downloading it now! Thanks for allowing this on PC!”

Not everyone is happy about this update, though, for some believe more focus should be on the console rather than Windows.

However, it’s fair to say that PC users come second compared to their console counterparts.

Being able to update your controller directly from your PC is a game changer for many, and, thankfully, it’s an option that’s available right now.
