The PlayStation 5 Pro may not be the console of our dreams, at least that’s what some fans are now worrying about.

These concerns come after the PlayStation 5 Pro’s load times have been revealed, with those times dividing users.

Perhaps now that these times have been shared, those GTA VI fans excited by the prospect of PS5 Pro bundle concepts will be less so...?

Unlikely, given how hyped up that fandom is, but you never know.

As shared on Reddit, and reported on by Eurogamer, The Digital Foundry team has been discussing the specs from the upcoming PS5 upgrade.

Over the course of their conversation, loading times are mentioned, which is where the great divide among Sony fans started.

Previous leaks and speculations placed the TFLOPs of the PS5 Pro at 33, however, The Digital Foundry has referred to 36 TFLOPS instead.

As expected, this has caused some confusion.

“So, it's actually 36 TFLOPS instead of 33?” asked Redditor SpyroManiac36.

To this user IndefiniteBen replied, “Technically yes, but the fact 33 has been quoted implies that is the typical power level of the console. 36 can be reached with the boost clock, but the Pro will only be able to use the full boost clock in very limited and specific scenarios.”

While some of you will fully understand what all of that means, some of us don’t speak tech, hence numerous Redditors asking whether this is a good or bad tidbit of information.

Despite several users believing it to be “more good”, there are those in the comments who question the validity of TFLOPS entirely.

“I wish people would stop acting like they understand TFLOPS. It's an essentially meaningless number,” argued RogueLightMyFire.

From here, another debate then started over the merits of TFLOPs.

For every “this is better than assumed” comment, there’s someone else complaining that there’s “zero chance this thing can play GTA VI at 60.”

Ah, the duality of man.
