Naughty Dog has shared a new trailer for a documentary on The Last Of Us Part II, and fans won’t want to miss it.

As the release date for The Last Of Us Part II Remastered creeps closer and closer, diehard fans won’t want to miss this documentary on how the team at Naughty Dog brought the story to life.

The documentary is set to premiere on YouTube sometime after the game’s PlayStation 5 launch, and will also be featured as part of a post-launch update for the game as well.

Roughly 85 minutes of footage will be viewable and will cover some of the decisions and challenges faced during the making of the game. This includes some of the more controversial story moments that shocked fans upon release, like a segment with Joel very early in the game.

Interviews with some of the game developers will also be used, as well as ones with the several brilliant actors who brought the characters to life through motion capture and voice acting.

It’s said the documentary was originally supposed to be released around the time of the standard version of the game for PlayStation 4, though plans changed during filming in 2020 when the COVID-19 virus caused issues worldwide.

The team has since revisited the captured footage and turned it into the documentary originally envisioned, and will be well worth a watch for all fans of The Last Of Us who want to learn more about how it was made.

A release date hasn’t been shared at the time of writing, but Naughty Dog has told fans to stay tuned for new developments, which will be shared via its official social media channels.
