It doesn't matter which PlayStation Plus tier you subscribe to, there is always a little something for everyone no matter the genre.

Obviously, the higher tier that you subscribe to, the more games that will be available in the ever-evolving PlayStation Plus library. For example, PS Plus Essential is the same tier before the 2022 revision offering a small selection of titles each month with additional perks such as exclusive DLC and discounts.

Next up is PlayStation Plus Extra which offers everything included in the Essential tier, but with a lot more PS5 and PS4 games to choose from. Finally, PlayStation Plus Premium not only features everything included in the previous two tiers but also classic titles of yesteryear from PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP. Subscribers of Sony’s Premium tier can also take advantage of exclusive trials, cloud streaming, a selection of curated movies and more.

Earlier this week, Sony announced the titles that will be included in PS Plus Essential for January 2024 and it’s going to be a banger of a month, which fans agree with. From Tuesday, 2 January subscribers will be able to add A Plague Tale: Requiem (PS5), Evil West (PS5/PS4) and Nobody Saves the World (PS5/PS4) to their library.

The popularity of each PS Plus month is subjective to the individual, but it does seem like the January 2024 offering is being well received by fans. Replying to a tweet from PlayStation UK, it was greeted with replies such as “Banger Month” from MJ and “Absolute bangers this month,” said JRSY.

“If you haven't played A Plague Tale: Requiem yet, please do. It was beautiful and the ending will leave you sobbing. Definitely my favourite narrative of 2022,” suggested ExtraLifeMEL. “I almost bought Evil West on Amazon last week, result,” exclaimed ddeblasio.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is out now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Evil West is out on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, while Nobody Saves the World is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Be sure to add any PS Plus titles that tickle your fancy next month.
