Bloodborne fans lose it as PlayStation finally remember we exist

PlayStation is acknowledging Bloodborne, and fans think it means a reveal is on its way

PlayStation has discounted a variety of Bloodborne merch on its store, showing that it knows that there are still fans of the game out there.

The next big FromSoftware title is Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree, the grand-finale to one of the developer's best games, and one we cannot wait to dive into.

Check out Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree below.

However, whatever comes after the upcoming Elden Ring expansion is anyone’s guess, though fans like myself have plenty of ideas for what we want to see happen.

Arguably at the top of that list is the desire to see something Bloodborne-related, preferably a remake or remaster for the PlayStation 5, which has been rumoured to exist for quite a while now.

With a PlayStation Showcase scheduled for later today, we might finally see that dream come to fruition but if it doesn’t, I can’t even begin to imagine the disappointment.

As if to add insult to injury too, PlayStation has discounted Bloodborne merch on the PlayStation store, including a Hunter t-shirt, a water bottle, and a notebook with crows on it.

Of course, fans are taking this as a sign or tease that something Bloodborne related is going to be announced soon.

“Wait. WAIT! Something is odd about this," wrote one fan.

“I mean this pretty much confirms it right?” said another, while one fan said, “Bloodborne 2 announcement incoming.”

Now, this is purely speculation, as it’s probably just an effort to get rid of leftover stock, but you can’t deny the timing is interesting.

If a Bloodborne remake, remaster or even sequel gets announced later today at the PlayStation showcase, it could very well be one of the most popular reveals in recent years, so fingers-crossed it happens.

In the meantime though, FromSoftware fans can look forward to Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree, which will release next month for all platforms.
