An unexpected free download associated with Battlefield 6 is available now but you only have a limited time to check it out on PlayStation 5. So, get a move on, soldier!
The long-awaited Battlefield 6 arrived earlier this month, and by most accounts, it’s been a welcome entry in the series by fans. Granted, the single–player campaign may be a bit on the short side, but it’s a fun experience nonetheless.
According to HowLongToBeat, depending on your playstyle, the Battlefield 6 single-player campaign can take anywhere between five to eight hours to finish. This probably explains why there is no EA Play trial at this time.
In our review of Battlefield 6, GAMINGbible’s Olly said: “It’s punchy, direct, and exciting. It all feels carefully tuned to how players have wanted the game to be like since the golden era of the series.”

However, there may not be a trial for Battlefield 6 right now, but by the looks of things, if you purchase the game from the PlayStation Store, you will be gifted with a seven-day trial for PS Plus Premium.

An image of the Battlefield 6: Phantom Edition was shown by Reddit user boredgamer2017, but it’s not clear whether this offer is available for all versions of the game. I already own the game, which is probably why the offer doesn't show for me, as well as being a PlayStation Plus Premium subscriber.
Judging by boredgamer2017’s post, they’ve had issues accessing the PlayStation Plus trial, but hopefully, they’ve got it sorted by now.

I would assume that if you’re already a subscriber to PlayStation Plus Premium, you won't have access to this trial offer. Typically, offers like this tend to be for new customers only, which always sucks.
That being said, it also seems boredgamer2017 is not the only one having trouble accessing the PlayStation Plus seven-day trial. Perhaps, it’s also only valid for customers who buy the game now, rather than before this promotion existed? Which again, would suck.
A fellow Reddit user suggested that Battlefield 6 has already been purchased to try restarting the game. If that doesn't work, contact technical support.

It is noted on the PlayStation Store that the seven-day trial for PS Plus Premium is only available until 6 November 2025. So, if you were already thinking of picking up Battlefield 6 on PS5, now might be an ideal time.
Battlefield 6 is out now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
