Assassin's Creed fans wait with baited breath as Ezio set for imminent return

Is Ezio coming back?

If you ask an Assassin’s Creed fan who their favourite character is, you’ll likely hear the same answer from all, Ezio.

While I’m more of an Edward Kenway fan myself, I can see the appeal. Ezio’s skilled, dashing, charming, and probably the most famous assassin in the world.

Have you had a chance to play Astro Bot yet? Take a look at the launch trailer below

Ezio has also appeared more than any other assassin in the series, though fans are hoping he’ll make one more in probably the last place you’d expect, Astro Bot.

PlayStation’s latest masterpiece, which we awarded a perfect 10/10 score to, has taken the world by storm with its fantastic platforming and heaps of history through all the video game cameos it features.

All of your favourite IPs are here from Bloodborne to Crash Bandicoot all waiting to be discovered, and apparently there’s more to come.

We know for a fact that the game will be getting free DLC that’ll add more bots to the game, and looking at the game’s credits gives us some hints as to who we might see next.

One such cameo bot will be from the Assassin’s Creed series, so it’s probably going to be Ezio given how he’s basically the face of the franchise at this point.

Other planned appearances are believed to be Rayman, Eve from Stellar Blade and more, so keep your eyes peeled for updates from PlayStation for the game.

While Assassin’s Creed has never been an exclusive to Sony’s system, it hasn’t stopped other non-Sony franchises from dropping in and helping Astro Bot on his journey.

Personally I’d love to see more than just Ezio make an appearance. In an ideal world, the full crew could turn up but if we’re being realistic I’d settle for Ezio, Edward and Connor.
