PlayStation Plus is offering a huge discount on its Premium tier, and it’s available right now.
Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscription service offers plenty of bang for your buck, regardless of whether you pay for the Essential, Extra or Premium tier. Granted, the higher the tier, the more goodies that you’ll have available.
Saying that though, the offerings included in the PlayStation Plus March Essential tier have leaked, and let’s just say, it’s not off to a great start.

The leak comes courtesy of Dealabs' bilbill-kun, and when it comes to PS Plus leaks, they rarely get it wrong.
However, no matter the tier, PlayStation Plus has been getting increasingly more expensive with no major improvement to the service, in my opinion. Despite the price hikes, we’re pretty much getting the same amount of games and perks as we were 12 months ago.
Subscription Prices Continue to Rise!
At least with Microsoft’s revision and price hikes of Xbox Game Pass, you arguably get better perks, such as the ‘Fortnite Crew’ subscription and a wider selection of games. But I digress.
As brought to our attention by TheGamer, right now, PlayStation Plus subscribers can claim a huge 37% off a Premium subscription as part of the current ‘Lunar New Year’ promotion.
Typically, in the US, a 12-month subscription to PlayStation Plus costs $159.99, but with the current discount, that cost comes down to a far more reasonable $99.99.
While the US gets a discount of 37%, in the UK it’s slightly less, 35% for some reason. Still, that brings the cost of a 12-month PlayStation Plus Premium subscription from £119.99 to £77.99.
Can You Claim the 37% PS Plus Premium Discount?
While this offer is apparently available to everyone, when I’ve attempted to change my monthly PlayStation Plus Premium plan to 12 months, the discount has not been applied.
I’m not sure why that’s the case, but it’s something worth keeping in mind if you’re in a similar situation.
The Lunar New Year sale ends this week on Thursday, 26 February 2026. So if you want to take advantage of this huge PlayStation Plus Premium discount, you might want to act sooner rather than later.
As for the aforementioned titles rumoured to be coming to PlayStation Plus Essential for March 2026, Sony will likely be making an official reveal this coming Wednesday.
