Uh oh. After a promising start to the year, PlayStation Plus looks set to upset subscribers with an upcoming line-up.
On Wednesday 25 February, March's essential tier PlayStation Plus line-up is set to be confirmed ahead of those games arriving on Tuesday 3 March.
Before that reveal though, the month's headliner has leaked online.
This is courtesy of Dealabs' bilbill-kun via a new report, so while I'd typically urge you to take all leaks with a hefty pinch of salt, I will say that bilbill-kun is consistently correct month after month.

Here it is then. March's essential tier headliner is ... PGA Tour 2K25. I did try and set you up for disappointment.

If you're a golf fan, you could be rubbing your little hands together and shouting yippee. The problem is though that something like PGA Tour 2K25 doesn't really have mass appeal.
Followers of the sport will have likely already picked this up. If you're not a golf fan, you won't care. That leaves a very small subset of people who may find a thrill in the game's arrival.
Ideally, a sports title like this could do with being one of the month's non-headlining options. Of course, we don't know which two or three other titles are set to join PGA Tour 2K25. They could very much outdo it.

That's the scenario I'm hoping for. PGA Tour 2K25 may come from a big publisher, but there are plenty of award-winning indies the masses are itching to play that we could be surprised with.
What I will say is that PGA Tour 2K25 proved to be a success with critics upon release, garnering a very respectable score of 80 on Metacritic.
"The game aims to be the ultimate golf simulator. The Ranked Tours mode is highly engaging, allowing players to compete and showcase their skills," wrote GamersRD in its review, awarding the title a score of nine.
"Gameplay mechanics are more refined than in previous entries, with the addition of EvoSwing and Perfect Swing for an improved experience."
Don't forget that this means you only have around a week to claim February's essential tier line-up. I suggest you do that as the games are yours to keep. You don't know what you'll fancy playing further down the line.
As a reminder, the current line-up consists of Undisputed, Subnautica: Below Zero, Ultros, and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.
We'll bring March's full line-up to you when it surfaces in a few days time.
