I should hope that I don’t need to list why The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the greatest video games of all time.
If you’ve played it, you’ll know the game speaks for itself. And if you haven’t? Do yourself a favour and give it a go.
Given that the game currently costs just £6.24 on both the Xbox and PlayStation stores, now could be the perfect time.

Do note though that the PlayStation offer price is only available until 14 August.
For those that are well acquainted with The Witcher 3, particularly on PC, you may have found yourself dabbling in the world of mods.
After all, it’s been eight years since the game's last official DLC, Blood and Wine, launched.
There are so many incredible mods out there and the quality of those mods has only increased in recent months following the launch of the REDkit, the same tools used by CD Projekt RED devs.

Well, an exciting opportunity has arisen for modders and players alike as CDPR has tasked fans with using REDkit to create a brand new questline.
ICYMI: Take a look at our preview of Star Wars Outlaws below.
Working as a team or as an individual, CDPR has challenged fans with creating a new original quest that exhibits creativity, originality, and technical excellence.

You can work in a team of up to five people, the questline should include two to three interconnected quests, and the deadline of submission of 14 October.
You must be using the REDkit - downloadable from Steam, GOG, or the Epic Games Store - and you must not use AI, infringe on any copyrights, or include NSFW content.
Entries will be judged by CDPR and Yigsoft team members, with a number of juicy prizes up for grabs.
First place will win a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080, Basilisk V3 Pro + Mouse Dock Pro, Black Widow V4 75%, Kraken V3 HyperSense, Dyenamik red Witcher jersey, Dyenamik playing cards, and an InsertCoin Witcher jacket.

The second and third place prizes are variations of this bundle, with all nominees receiving a Witcher goodie bag.
As fans, we all win when you think about it because just think how many incredible mods and therefore quests are going to be coming to the game in the next few months - if you’re lucky enough to be playing on PC that is.
I have no doubt that the fandom will cook up some spectacular creations for us to enjoy.
