A brand new mod for Stardew Valley is attempting to extend the game’s story, by adding a bunch of “endgame content” to a very specific portion of the map.
'Distant Lands' is a "small witch swamp expansion" for Stardew Valley from mod author Aimon111 over on Nexus Mods that aims to enhance the game’s finale with a slew of post-game content.
Those who have managed to get to the end of Stardew Valley by completing all of the Community Centre bundles might remember encountering a fella simply called “Henchman”.
Once you’ve completed his quest, Henchman will despawn and you’ll never see him again, but Aimon111 is looking to rectify this by giving him an entirely new questline.

The newly named Zic comes packaged alongside "dozens of quests and events", four new fish, four new crops, and six new cooking and crafting recipes.
That’s not all though, as completing the quests in Distant Lands also allows you to customise the Witch Swamp map in some inventive ways, too.
If the comments over on the Nexus page for the mod are anything to go by, it sounds like Distant Lands is a 10/10 experience.

I mean, c’mon, he seems like such a lovely little dude. Let him move out of the swamp and into our cute little farm cottages.
