Star Wars fans can claim a legendary free game right now

You've got until the end of the month to grab it

It’s currently Prime Day, well, one of several Prime Days,

This year, the event is running from 8 to 11 July and while I’m sure you’ve already scoured Amazon and made a couple of spontaneous purchases, I wanted to direct your attention to something free over on Prime Gaming.

As I’m sure you’re aware, if you have an Amazon Prime membership, access to Prime Gaming is completely free - and it’s a great way of adding free games to your PC collection.

Prime Gaming adds new titles to its free roster every single month, and it’s added a bumper crop this time around in celebration of Prime Day.

If you’re here, that means you're a Star Wars fan, so you’re going to be thrilled to discover that Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II is one of the free games you can download now, yours to keep forever.

If you haven’t played it before, this one’s a classic FPS released back in 1997 where players assume the role of Kyle Katarn, a mercenary working for the New Republic.

Alongside that, you can also currently pick up Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and Marvel’s Midnight Suns for free too.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a 2010 survival horror where you’ll follow protagonist Daniel as he explores the foreboding Castle Brennenburg.

As you might have guessed, he’s not alone in the castle leading to some terrifying encounters.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns landed back in 2022 and honestly, I reckon it was one of the year’s most underrated titles.

It’s a tactical RPG where you’ll create your own superhero named The Hunter, recruiting famous Avengers, X-Men, Midnight Sons, and Runaways to your roster as you fend off the evil Lilith.

All three of those games will remain available from Prime Gaming for free for the entirety of July.

For a limited time, you can also nab Football Manager 2024 which I feel needs no explanation.

This one’s only available during the Prime Day event, with its availability expiring on Friday 11 July at 11.59pm PT.

I implore you to keep an eye out beyond this for additional offers.

Besiege: The Splintered Sea DLC and Endless Space 2: Definitive Edition are set to join Prime Gaming on 17 July, with I Love Finding Wild Friend Collector’s Edition and Venba joining on the 24 July, and Heroes of Loot on the 31 of the month.

There’s a bit of something for everyone, as they say.
