Skyrim gets 10 times bigger in free download you can check out now

As if Skyrim needed to be any bigger!

It’s fair to say that Skyrim is a massive game, not just because of its immense popularity but its sheer map size with so many secrets. There’s probably something you’ve still not discovered.

Released in 2011 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was met with instant and widespread critical acclaim praising its visuals, storytelling and sense of adventure. On the aggregate website Metacritic, it garnered a score of 96, cementing its place as an all-time great and earning the “Must-Play” accolade.

Check out the Skyrim Anniversary Edition trailer below!

Due to its popularity, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has become one of the most re-released games in existence arriving to every new console generation since its 2011 release with the most recent being on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Some have criticised Bethesda for the seemingly endless ports but if fans stopped buying the game, it wouldn't get re-released as often as it has.

Personally, I love this entry in The Elder Scrolls series, so I may be partly to blame. Moreover, one of the reasons why Skyrim has remained so popular after all these years is its ever-vibrant modding community but today’s mod that is the topic of discussion may be one of the weirdest yet (and that’s saying something considering all the weird Skyrim mods we’ve seen).

Created by modder SpongebobHentaiSimulator, ‘Cursed Skyrim - 10x Bigger Skyrim’ is available to download now for free via NexusMods. In a nutshell, what this mod does is shrink you to basically the size of a LEGO figure while the world of Skyrim remains unscathed.

If you think alongside the lines of the classic movie Honey, I Shrunk the Kids or the multiplayer game Grounded, then you’ll get the general gist. Can you imagine fighting the legendary Alduin dragon while being the size of a LEGO figure? Now that’s a daunting prospect

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
