It is official. We got Grand Theft Auto VI in Red Dead Redemption 2 before Grand Theft Auto VI has even released.

Due to its recently announced delay, there is just under a year to go until Grand Theft Auto VI launches but in the meantime, one creator has made it possible to live out all of your criminal dreams in Red Dead Redemption 2.

This is courtesy of the 'Life of Crime 2.0.2' mod by creator CruelMasterMC on NexusMods.

“A mod that will change the game completely,” the mod description reads.

“Play as your own character that you make, and play along in my life of crime mod.”

There is no denying that you can already be a criminal in Red Dead Redemption 2 if you don’t mind a bit of low honour, but this mod completely overhauls gameplay to make it suited to a different playstyle.

It will include a skill tree, ranks, a brand-new train heist, an intro, and an interaction menu.

Not only that but you will be able to make your very own character instead of having to play as either Arthur or John.

“The whole point of the mod is to play as a completely NEW character - with all of your weapons and money being removed - that is designed by you, NOT to play as Arthur or John,” the modder explains.

“While you play on in the game, you can earn all of the weapons by buying them from a gunsmith or finding them anywhere on the map, and earn more money from doing missions and such to pay for these things and many more things I plan on adding.”

As mentioned, CruelMasterMC plans to add much more content to the Life of Crime mod, including bounty hunting and heists.

So if you are eager for new Red Dead Redemption 2 content and you just so happen to play the game on PC, then make sure to check out this exciting mod.
