If you’re a fan of Mass Effect and Horizon, then you might want to check out this free download for an upcoming AAA game on the Nintendo Switch 2 that has you battling giant robotic enemies in outer space.

We’re just two months into 2026, and we already have some big AAA games to look forward to, most notably, GTA VI, which will be released on 19 November.

In the next few months alone, we’re being treated to Reanimal, Resident Evil Requiem and Pokémon Pokopia, to name a few. However, another game might not have been on your radar, and that’s Capcom’s Pragmata.

Pragmata is Well-Received by the GAMINGbible Team!

We’ve actually previewed three builds of Pragmata, and both Sam and I have come away feeling impressed with Capcom’s new sci-fi shooter, and more recently, so has Kate on the Nintendo Switch 2.

“I played through Pragmata’s demo in docked mode, and I could have just as easily been playing on, say, PC or PlayStation 5,” said Kate in her preview.

“There were no framerate drops, no visual stutters, nor was the game lacking in terms of graphical fidelity. Pragmata ran without flaws, and in doing so, it taught me something very important. This demo easily sold Pragmata to me, but it also reminded me that I shouldn’t overlook the Nintendo Switch 2’s power.”

Download the Free Pragmata Demo Today!

Right now, you can download a free playable demo of Pragmata across all available platforms, PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2.

I have a feeling that most who have played a preview of Pragmata (outside of GAMINGbible) went in not expecting much but ended up being excited for the game. I know that I did. The controls are a bit fiddly at first, as you get used to the simultaneous puzzle solving and shooting enemies, but once it clicks, it’s an absolute blast.

Pragmata might stand out as one of 2026’s most overlooked games, and that would be a shame, because I believe it has a chance of being one of the surprise hits of the year.

So I would highly recommend downloading the Pragmata demo on your platform of choice. You never know, you might be pleasantly surprised. Pragmata will be released in its full form on 24 April 2026.
