You can currently nab two free games that total up to £50 in value on PC, but you better be quick before they disappear for good!

Thank you in advance to the Twitter account Free Steam Games for bringing these freebies to our attention… although I should warn you in advance that these free games aren’t actually available through Steam.

That’s right folks, it’s time for everyone’s favourite monthly ritual: booting up the Epic Games Store to claim some free stuff and then never looking at it again for another 30 days.

This month’s free titles are the 2023 hack’n’slash zombie shooter Dead Island 2, and whatever the hell Happy Game is!

Ok, let’s start with the star of the show: Dead Island 2.

You can take a look at it in action below.

I reviewed Dead Island 2 when it first released, and I’ll be completely honest with you… I did not vibe with this game at all.

It was a fun little time waster, but it felt a bit too repetitive and the story was proper rubbish. However, I will admit that my opinion on the game has slightly improved since then.

The content updates were a lot of fun, and as long as you’re not paying £50 for it at launch, it is a pretty fun, leave your brain at the door kind of game. Worth a shot, for free at least.

As far as Happy Game is concerned, I genuinely have zero knowledge of this one.

I remember hearing about it when it first came out, and then never again. It looks like a pretty simple horror puzzle game, but the reviews are a bit on the shaky side.

Eh, well, y’know… just add it to your Epic Games library anyway. Free is free.

You have roughly a month to claim these, based on how consistent Epic is at cycling through their monthly games, so make sure you log in now and get them before you forget!
