Ever wished you could fly atop a magic carpet instead of a broom in Hogwarts Legacy? Or what about a dragon? Or even a cat?

Well, wish no longer, as the new update for Hogwarts Legacy will let you do exactly that.

A few days ago, the community team at WB Games Avalanche released a brand-new trailer for Hogwarts Legacy’s “PC Modding” update.

“The keys to the castle are now in the hands of the Community!” WB Games Avalanche revealed.

“In the latest FREE update to Hogwarts Legacy, PC Modding will now be officially supported with the release of our Creator Kit and in-game Mod Manager. It’s time to conjure up a whole new Hogwarts and live the unwritten like never before!”

Said update is available right this second, and according to the devs you won’t have to wait any time at all to get your hands on some new, community-designed content for the game.

Take a look at the update below.

That’s because, even though the update just went live, the developers actually handed the Creator Kit out to a select few members of the community ahead of time, so heaps of new content (including, yes, the dragon) is available from day one.

You can also try out stuff like "a brand new endless dungeon experience with constant combat and hidden paths", "a magical creature fetch quest" and even a "vacuum cleaner" inspired broom to ride on, right this second.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg. Now that the tools are out there and available for everyone, we’ll be seeing heaps of new stuff like this over the coming weeks.

I wonder though, what are the limits of this Creator Kit? Modders are known for pushing the boundaries of what should be possible with tools like this, so maybe we’ll finally be getting a playable Quidditch mini-game in Hogwarts Legacy after all…
