Hogwarts Legacy players who have exhausted all the base game’s content now have another quest to play through for free.
Harry Potter fans loved Hogwarts Legacy when it came out. It expanded on the deep lore of the Wizarding World while also providing players with a fun RPG to sink their teeth into.
Despite the game’s 50+ hour play length, depending on whether you do all the side quests and extra activities, some players have beaten the game multiple times over and still desire more.
Hogwarts Legacy mods add all sorts of new content to the game, like new items, enemies, and quests.

Sadly for them, Warner Bros. has cancelled the Hogwarts Legacy DLC and Definitive Edition, leaving fans irked about the future of the game.
While the wait for a sequel continues, players on PC can now enjoy a new free quest to fill the Horcrux-sized hole.
'The Flooded Laboratory' is a new mod for Hogwarts Legacy which adds a new area to the game’s map near Cragcroft.
The mod currently has about 7.5K downloads and has a download size of 60.3MB, so it's not like it's going to be a massive download.
This is the second mod released by developer MTL_LD, after their earlier mod The Great Goblin Elevator was also released on CurseForge.
The mod’s official description reads: “A slight tremor was felt along the coast, just east of Cragcroft. The Ministry of Magic has sent representatives to investigate, but no one has heard from them or found any news yet. For safety, the Headmaster is asking that no students, especially any high level ones, visit the area to investigate or make matters worse. Beware, as unconfirmed sightings of goblins have been reported in the area after dark."
To begin the adventure, players should make sure to find the coast southeast of Cragcroft. Once there, look for a cave opening at the top of the cliffs.
Since 'The Flooded Laboratory' is a mod, console players won’t be able to play it, we’re afraid. Still, for anyone playing the game on PC, this should be a decent way to kill an hour or two.
