Stardew Valley is the gift that keeps on giving, and that’s the case here with this free tropical paradise mod.

Originally released in 2016 before being ported to multiple platforms, Stardew Valley is without question one of the most popular indie darlings of all time. When it comes to being described as a “cosy game”, nothing is better suited than this beloved sim game from ConcernedApe.

“You've inherited your grandfather's old farm plot in Stardew Valley. Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home?” reads the synopsis of the game.

Stardew Valley Keeps on Growing!

Over the years, Stardew Valley has benefited from a plethora of free content updates, not only improving the overall quality of the game, but adding new story missions, areas, NPCs and more.

The most recent update is the highly anticipated 1.7, and the highlight of that particular content of goodness was adding brand new marriage candidates. However, the content doesn't end there, because the ever-vibrant modding community always has us covered.

Add a Touch of Tropical Paradise to Stardew Valley

One mod in question is called ‘Gem Sea Shores - More Beach Areas’, created by Aimon111, and it’s free to download now via Nexusmods. This mod pretty much does what you’d expect, by adding some sunny beaches to what is already a delightful game.

The mod expands on the already existing beaches in the game, as well as adding new forests with lush flowers, caves, quests, a new fast-travel function, and more. It’s also compatible with some other community mods.

It’s perhaps worth keeping in mind that this mod isn't quite the finished product yet, but it will receive further updates over time. What’s more, as is the case with most mods, this is a PC exclusive.

Hopefully, all the content updates and mods should keep us busy until the Stardew Valley spiritual successor arrives, Haunted Chocolatier (which doesn't have a release date yet).

Finally, be sure to add GAMINGbible to your Google Discover, so that you know when more fantastic Stardew Valley mods are worth checking out.

Stardew Valley is out on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and compatible mobile devices.
