Far Cry Primal next-gen overhaul is a thing of beauty

I never thought I'd see the game looking this good

Could this finally be the year that Ubisoft lifts the lid on Far Cry 7?

Whatever is next for the company, expectations will be high following the colossal success of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

It’s exactly what Ubisoft needed.

Would it be wise to stick with the franchise, and unveil something like Assassin’s Creed Hexe next? Or is it time to give the brotherhood a breather?

Insiders claim that Far Cry 7 is pretty far along in development, with the game believed to revolve around some kind of time limit mechanic.

We won’t know for certain until Ubisoft holds its next Forward event which will assumedly take place in June again.

In the meantime, you may find yourself revisiting some old favourites from the publisher.

If Far Cry Primal falls into that category, then I highly suggest you look at this incredible remaster.

Star Wars Outlaws’ next story expansion is due out Spring 2025.

This remaster is the work of YouTuber Digital Dreams who’s somewhat of a tech wizard when it comes to this kind of thing.

The creator managed to get Far Cry Primal running in 8K at 60fps using NVIDIA’S RTX4090.

You can take a look at the end result below.

Of course, there’s more to it than just using a decent bit of kit; Digital Dreams also implemented several mods and you can find their mod list and ReShade presets available to download in the video’s description.

“Never expected this game to look this good,” wrote one viewer.

“It looks really good,” added another.

“Is this real? What the hell man, looks amazing,” read one comment.

As I said, if you’re on PC, you can try and emulate this using Digital Dreams’ mod and ReShade lists.

Otherwise, we’re going to have to hope that Ubisoft delivers a similarly impressive experience with Far Cry 7.
