Despite spending an inordinate amount of time creating our Sole Survivor, many of us experienced Fallout 4 mostly in first-person.

However, thanks to this newly-improved mod, playing Fallout 4 in third-person no longer has to feel janky and we can admire our Vault Dweller’s in all their 2015 graphical glory.

Go back to where it all began with the trailer for Fallout 4 below!

First released back in 2015, it is hard to believe that Fallout 4 will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary later this year.

It is even harder to believe that, other than its multiplayer spin-off in the shape of Fallout 76, there has not been a mainline, single-player Fallout game since then.

However, the Fallout franchise is as popular as ever, thanks to the Prime Video television show adaptation with the same name, so it is no surprise that fans are eager for Bethesda to speed up the development of Fallout 5.

In the meantime, creator Onymaru over on NexusMods has been working on their 'Much Better 3rd Person Animations' mod which, as you can probably guess, greatly improves animations for our Sole Survivor when you play in third-person.

The 'Much Better 3rd Person Animations' mod is an updated version of the 'Better 3rd Person Animations' mod with the latter now coming in a bundle with Onymaru’s fellow mod, '3rd Person Tactical ADS'.

Not only that but the creator urges players to download some further mods in order to make the most out of third person mode in Fallout 4.

This includes: 'Comprehensive Third Person Controller Camera Tweaks', 'Immersive Movement Speed Revamped', 'Realistic Movement Speed for the Wasteland', and how can you forget 'Let's move like real people huh AKA Realistic Humanoid Movement Speed'?

By combining these free mods, you will be able to see a big improvement in how your Soul Survivor moves whilst playing in third person and it will breathe a whole new lease of life into the decade old game.

So if you play Fallout 4 on PC and want to improve the hit RPG even more, take advantage of these free downloads.
