It’s hard to comprehend that Cyberpunk 2077 went from one of gaming’s biggest disasters to one of its greatest success stories.

I recall the glitch and bug-ridden state it launched in - and now, it’s one of the most technically and visually impressive games out there.

It’s a real testament to the developers’ hard work and resolve. It’s not easy to come back from a knockback like that.

Thankfully, this means that CD Projekt RED has greenlit a sequel known only by the codename Project Orion.

That sequel is almost guaranteed not to be launching this console generation.

You see, devs are hard at work on the next instalment in The Witcher series and that game has only just entered full development after the pre-production phase.

Already though, we have a pretty good idea at what a next-gen Cyberpunk 2077 might look like thanks to the work of talented modders.

ICYMI: Dragon Age: The Veilguard launches at the end of this month. Take a look at the game in action below.

There are plenty of impressive mods out there for Cyberpunk 2077 but this one comes from YouTuber Voyagers Revenge.

The DreamPunk 2.1 Graphics Mod essentially applies a number of hyper-realistic textures and lighting effects.

Voyagers Revenge makes use of the “newest tech available” including utilising “Path Tracing, Dynamic Destructible Environments, DLSS 3.7.10, VR Unrecord Mod Support, [and] HDR enabled with Advanced Controls Gameplay Overhaul”.

You can take a look at the mod in action below.

Those who download the project will benefit from dynamic weather, refined colour grading, and modified exposure adaptation, but you’ll need a pretty good piece of kit to get Cyberpunk 2077 running at this quality.

“Looks better than real life,” said one viewer.

“My PC is shaking uncontrollably in fear,” added another.

The mod pack is available to download from Voyagers Revenge’s Patreon page.
