Despite it being over three years since it was first released, Cyberpunk 2077 is as popular as ever and now you can see it as never before thanks to a free 8K graphics boost.
First released at the end of 2020 in quite a rough state, Cyberpunk 2077 has had one of the biggest comebacks in gaming history thanks to CD Projekt Red’s tireless work.

Now three years on, it is in its best state yet and welcomed both a major update and DLC, Phantom Liberty, last year.

However, fans want even more from the game’s setting, the neon-covered metropolis of Night City and they have achieved that with an 8K graphics boost which is free to download and add to your game now.
Created by Digital Dreams, the Cyberpunk 2077 8K graphics mod sees the game run at its highest settings yet courtesy of the Ultra Plus Better Path Tracing mod.
Available for both AMD and NVIDIA, the mod gives “up to 58% faster path tracing with improved quality and multiple hotfixes”. Not only that but 100% of any donations will go to the Wildlife Society. Cute!
Additionally, the mod recently received an update which increased bounce lighting from the ground, aimed at adding more realism as well as a 20GB VRAM option.
It is safe to say that this graphics mod makes Cyberpunk 2077 look even more realistic than it did before. Lines are sharper, performance is cleaner and Night City looks even more magical. It is no wonder it has plenty of fans.

One customer said: "This is seriously black magic, I just popped the ones I wanted in and now my game runs with no stutters and it has path tracing. I lost like five to eight fps but now it looks amazing and runs amazing. Wish more people could see this like front row and centre, this should just ship with the game."
