Let’s be honest here, we’re never going to get more official Bloodborne support, are we?
As much as FromSoft would likely love to do something with the Bloodborne IP, it comes down to big daddy Sony, and if they say no, then we all have to cry over our DualSense controllers.
This is why we need to look to community creators and the modding scene on PC if we want to get anything new in this Gothic masterpiece.

Sure, it’s not coming directly from the developers, but if you want to be a hunter forever, you need a PC and a quick detour to Nexus Mods.
Which is where 'Bloodborne: Magnum Opus' comes in, a mod from a creator who has dug through countless files, datamining through hidden details, and created the ultimate version of the game, by reinstating everything on the cutting room floor.
As the creator says, “This mod is the culmination of datamined content cut from the game and a lot of effort and thousands, I'm not exaggerating, thousands of hours of reworked models, textures and much more.”
Along with uncovering cut content, lots of textures have been revamped, glitches and bugs have been fixed, and an overhauled lighting system has been introduced.

The description continues, “The mod also focuses on a new take of the game, using the prior knowledge and experience of the vanilla version to enhance and surprise the player throughout their journey in Yharnam.”
This means new enemy placement and interesting twists on the story that you’ll have to experience for yourself, without spoilers.
It’s great to see Bloodborne getting attention, as the love from players is still there.
Perhaps one day Sony will take notice and give us something - we all expected it this year as the game turns 10 years old, but so far, Sony and FromSoft have been quiet.
