Bloodborne is back, sort of, as you can play it on PC again thanks to a new remaster mod. Best play this one quickly before Sony takes it down again.

Fans have wanted Bloodborne on PC for years now, and while an official release still hasn’t rolled around yet, many took it upon themselves to get the game ported to PC.

It was a success! Meaning many could experience the peak gaming experience that is Bloodborne with improved visuals and a faster framerate

However, once Sony cottoned on to this, the mod was quickly struck down, but fear not, as there are others out there like the PC Remaster Project, which you can download for free on NexusMods.

It’s what it says on the tin basically, though its official description goes into more details saying it “adds dynamic shadows to everything in the game, boosts ambient occlusion, alters gparams to boost shadow render distance and stability, upgraded textures, parallax occlusion mapping added to many surfaces, and more”.

If you have a stable version of the game on your PC, it’s a no-brainer to download this, and if you’re one of the unfortunate souls who’s on PlayStation only, you’re just going to have to hang tight until an actual remaster comes out.

The silver lining is it’s obvious PlayStation remembers Bloodborne exists, as it’s even being included in the upcoming concert tour that’ll play some of the soundtrack’s greatest hits alongside other PlayStation IPs.

As for an actual game though, I think we’ve still got a long wait ahead of us, possibly until the PlayStation 6 comes out, whenever that’ll be.

Keep hope though, we’ll get there eventually as Bloodborne is still one of the most popular soulsborne titles FromSoftware ever made, and if Demon Souls could get another chance I’m sure Bloodborne can too.
