Bloodborne's brand new boss arena mod poses a tremendous challenge for any expert players looking for more to take on.
Although the likelihood of us ever getting a remaster or PC version of Bloodborne remains rather minimal, modders have been able to bring fresh improvements thanks to emulation running smoothly on ShadPS4.
If you want to revamp your Bloodborne experience, simply having a look at the selection of new mods on Nexus Mods will spark a few ideas of how to change things up for your next character.
Boss Arena by modder PositronCannon is the latest such release which provides a fun challenge for veteran Bloodborne players to try their hand at.

The mod adds an entirely new dedicated mode which focuses on fighting bosses. In the Hunter’s Dream, you now have a new boss selection menu which allows you to fight any boss in the game, including ones you’ve already beaten.
The mod is intended for players to practice boss fights while trying out different builds, without having to spend hours getting to the boss and upgrading their character. It’s also a useful tool for players who enjoy the boss fights being able to replay them.

Boss Arena for Bloodborne makes the game so much tougher with the rush mode
There are two versions of this mode: Sandbox and Progression.
Sandbox mode is essentially a way to replay any of the bosses in whatever order you see fit. You can select a single boss to fight across both the base game and The Old Hunters DLC, where you’ll warp to it. There’s also support for some Chalice Dungeon bosses to be replayed.
There’s also a Boss Rush mode added here, which strings together a series of bosses in either a linear or a random sequence. You can select certain bosses to exclude from the pool, and also customise options related to consumable refills.
Sandbox mode also features a shop with most items in the game available for free, as well as a blood gem generator, levelling upgrades and optional cheats, so there’s really a lot of options here for those who just want a quick way to play some of Bloodborne’s toughest bosses.
Meanwhile, Progression mode changes this so you start with almost nothing except for your starting equipment, while the shop also sells only a limited selection of items, and you can only obtain items and upgrades from defeating bosses.
It’s essentially a tougher version of the base game, where you must defeat bosses in the same order they appear in the story progression and get rewards for defeating them. With only a limited number of resources, it’ll make you think twice about how to build your character.
If you’d like to check this new mod out, you’ll need your own PS4 copy of Bloodborne running through the ShadPS4 emulator on PC. Then, you can download Boss Arena from Nexus Mods and be able to start playing.
