Assassin’s Creed Valhalla looks like a PlayStation 6 game in stunning visual overhaul

Every visual overhaul of games we love brings us one step closer to seeing what PlayStation 6 graphics might look like.

The most recent overhaul that’s wowing us is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It’s fair to say that, as far RPGs go, Valhalla is a good game both narratively and graphically. Still, it doesn’t hurt to see the game burst onto our screens with stunning clarity and detail.

To say fans are stunned by how incredible the game looks feels like an inadequate way to summarise how well received this peek into the future of gaming has been. “Okay... this looks amazing... I wish Skyrim could have the grass as a mod, hahaha,” replied one impressed gamer.

If the next AC title looks half as good as this, we’ll happily wait for the PS6 before playing it. Okay, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but our point is that this looks almost flawless. Fans are almost as obsessed with this as they’re obsessed with Ezio’s new look.

Of course, if you want to look further ahead to protagonists anew, AC Hexe has teased a female lead and a release date; Ubisoft is giving us a double whammy. Should that not be enough to get you interested, Ubisoft is also working on a World War 2 game, though we doubt it’ll look as impressive as the overhauled Valhalla.

With Black Flag not being the only AC being remade, we can’t help but wonder what stunning graphics we'll be graced with next, and whether they’ll look as good as Valhalla.
