Finished with the older Assassin’s Creed games?

Think again.

With new-gen remasters like this one we’re about to discuss, previously tired Assassin’s Creed experiences feel revitalised.

This particular Ubisoft creation has been described as feeling like a “brand new game” the difference is that noteable.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate looks like a new game. We can't stop admiring it!

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been updated, with said update delivering 60fps on the PlayStation 5; arguably, the holy grail of frame rates.

“With 4K/60fps on PS5 it feels like a brand new game. So much better graphics, truly,” shared oaleebih.

“I can see potential, how good visually it looks, textures, details are high quality. Well done, Ubisoft, this makes me want more [of] the same update for Unity and Black Flag.”

The OP isn’t the only one singing its praises.

Redditor JamesEvanBond also said, “Dude seriously. I just loaded up a save that had night rain, and it looks GORGEOUS. I went into it expecting a light upgrade but wow. Looks almost like a straight PS5 game now. Well done, Ubisoft. Get on Unity next.”

A few naysayers are claiming it “looks worse”, but they genuinely are in the minority with that opinion.

“It looks like a modern game and damn is the city possibly the best in the series,” commented Sabconth.

Considering how stunning games like Black Flag still are, that’s quite the bold claim to make.

Some fans are questioning if the update has tweaked more than the visuals because it sounds much better, too.

“Did they improve the environmental sounds, too? It sounds a lot better now,” questioned one individual.

It could be nothing but a placebo effect, but either way, fans are heartily satisfied with this remaster.

Even though it’s not perfect, and some players still have their gripes, everyone seems a lot more forgiving of Syndicate than they were before.
