LEGO Batman Open-World Game Announced, Will Adapt Every Movie

Batman is back, and this time he's a little LEGO fella.

LEGO Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight is a brand-new open-world Batman adventure that will adapt elements from every single Batman movie, from the 1989 original right through The Batman.

This looks to be a huge evolution of the LEGO formula, building on the larger, open-world RPG elements woven into LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

Expect a ton of gadgets and combat in the style of the Arkham games, plus a hefty open world to explore in full.

"LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a brand-new open world action adventure videogame that invites players to embark on Bruce Wayne’s epic journey to become the hero of Gotham City," reads the official YouTube synopsis.

While rumours abound that Arkham developer Rocksteady is working on its own new Batman game, this looks set to be a wonderful extra treat for fans of the caped crusader to look forward to.

There's no release window to speak of just yet, but I'd imagine we'll be seeing this adventure land in 2026. Watch this space.
