The Legend of Zelda fans are blown away by this jaw-dropping remaster of one of the Nintendo Switch’s best games in recent years.

The Legend of Zelda series is one of the best and most popular in the world of video games offering some timeless classics with the likes of A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Breath of the Wild and much more.

Check out The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom trailer below!

The most recent game in the series is The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and in our review, we said: “This is a magnificent adventure that whizzes and pops with imagination, and proudly stands shoulder to shoulder with the very best of Link’s tales. If this is the Switch’s final Zelda game - and surely it has to be - then we’re going out on a high. It rules.”

Before Echoes of Wisdom, we were treated to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in 2023, the sequel to the critically acclaimed Breath of the Wild. Even when played on the ageing Nintendo Switch console, Tears of the Kingdom is one of the most gorgeous games that you’ll play in this generation.

However, when being played on PC thanks to emulation, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be taken to new levels. One example of this is a remaster showcased by the YouTube channel, Dishonorable_Daimyo.

This stunning remaster that can be played at a crisp 4K and 60 frames-per-second is powered by an Intel Core i9 10900K and ASUS TUF RTX3080.

It’s unlikely that whenever the Nintendo Switch successor arrives, it won't be anything close to the level of this remaster powered by a beast of a PC. That being said, if it’s half as close, you won't hear us complaining.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom and Echoes of Wisdom are all out for the Nintendo Switch now. Oh, and let’s not forget the charming Link’s Awakening of 2019.

The Nintendo Switch successor is expected to arrive sometime in 2025.
