A stunning new Pokémon item has leaked ahead of its official reveal, and understandably, fans want it immediately.
The term in Pokémon of “gotta catch 'em all” is not only a popular catchphrase of the franchise, but it’s one that passionate fans quite literally take to heart. Whether it's the collectable trading cards, plushies, video games or the topic of today’s discussion, LEGO, Pokémon fans really do want it all.
In March of this year, LEGO officially announced stunning sets featuring Blastoise, Charizard and Venusaur. These followed the already released Pikachu and Eevee sets.
It seems like LEGO and The Pokémon Company aren't done with fancy new sets, and why would they be? It’s basically like printing money at this point. So, what’s the next LEGO Pokémon set, I hear you ask?
As brought to our attention by The Brick Post (via Maximus.be), the new, yet to be officially revealed LEGO Pokémon set is for the popular Fire-type from the Kanto region, Arcanine.

Of course, we should always take unconfirmed rumours with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise, but other than looking absolutely genuine, this leak has some added validity because it was originally leaked on Amazon UK, before being taken down. What’s more, the original post from Maximus is no longer active. So, make of that what you will.
According to the leaked box art for LEGO Arcanine, it will be a 1,190-piece set and will carry the number 72160.
“Take your adventures as a Trainer to the next level in 3D with the LEGO Pokémon Arcanine,” the official description reads. “This gaming merchandise for adults takes video game fans back to the moments when they bonded during their adventures as Trainers and makes a cute piece of Pokémon decoration to display.”
Furthermore, the LEGO Arcanine description confirms that it will have a moving head, ears and legs. As well as a “special surprise” for fans to discover. The set is expected to have a price of around £90/$110.
“Damn, looks slick,” said Redditor sushi_collector12.
“Beautiful. Exactly what I was hoping for from the Pokémon/LEGO partnership,” added NarwhalSoup999.
“I NEED THE RAYQUAZA!” declared Illustrious-Use-2501.
“This looks great! Can we get Snorlax and/or Gengar with this same care?” asked WillSmithsBackhand.
Finally, seeing as LEGO Arcanine reportedly leaked on Amazon UK, it might be a good idea to keep tabs on Amazon’s LEGO store for when it drops. Especially, as it’s likely to sell out very fast and fall into the hands of greedy scalpers. Hopefully, you’ll be able to get hold of one via an actual retailer.
The next video game in the series will be Pokémon Wind and Waves, arriving in 2026 and will be a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive.
