The Pokémon Company has something up their sleeves, and fans are intrigued to know what it could be, as all signs are pointing to a big reveal, possibly for Gen 10.

We got news that in Japan, Weekly Shonen Jump, the long-running Manga comic is teaming up with Pokémon to develop crossover stories, such as Luffy from One Piece on an adventure with Pikachu.

Generation 10 is just around the corner, and although Nintendo has been quiet about it, we all know that something is coming soon.

Now, this teaser is causing fans to wonder if the Weekly Shonen Jump Manga will reveal the first Gen 10 Pokémon.

On Reddit, one fan speculates, “Oh, I get it. They are using 10 Pokémon to showcase the nine generations and then probably one from their new game.”

This would be an unprecedented way to reveal a new Pokémon, but for years, fans have urged Nintendo and Game Freak to shrug off tradition and do something new.

“These so far are related to the new game releasing,” said asifbro, though they’re not talking about the next mainline game.

While there is scope to pull off the best reveal ever, there’s a strong chance this collab is due to Pokémon Legends: Z-A being just around the corner.

This is echoed by jasonsith, who notes, “Likely they are fitting the primary protagonist(s) from the longer standing WSJ series with some featuring Pokémon from Pokémon Legends Z-A.”

This could all lead up to another reveal for a new Mega evolution, much like we recently saw with Dragonite.

Fans will be eagerly reading along and filling in the blanks, hoping for some epic conclusion to the collab, but nobody wants to get their hopes up.

As this fan comments, “I wasn’t expecting this collaboration, I’m not complaining either, I kind of want to see more.”
