Nintendo has just dropped a new bunch of Super Mario freebies for Switch players, and you can grab them now.

It’s that time of week again, where Nintendo’s next batch of profile icons for Switch and Switch 2 are now available for you to pick up.

This new batch includes a bunch of Super Mario icons taken from games like Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario Odyssey, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, so there’s a bit of variety should you need to diversify your online presence.

Those who are big fans of Super Mario 3D World’s unhinged alternative character designs will find a lot of fun here, with images featuring Cat Mario and Purple Flower Mario being available.

Similar, some images from Super Mario Odyssey’s alternative Cappy forms are also available here, as are several racers taken directly from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

These New Icons Are Part Of Super Mario's 40th Anniversary

All of these icons are available via an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription for 10 Platinum Points each, which you can collect by playing specific games with online functionality, or doing certain tasks with the NSO subscription.

Meanwhile, this new wave of freebies also includes some borders and backgrounds available for 5 Platinum Points each.

This includes several backgrounds taken directly from various Mario Kart 8 Deluxe courses, as well as some environments from Super Mario Odyssey. These pair well with the frames, with each one sporting a different kind of Mario-esque vibe.

If you want to pick up these icons yourself, you can do so by booting up your Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 console and heading to the Nintendo Switch Online app on the home page.

Once you’re in, go to the section called ‘Missions & Rewards’ and find the new Mario icons there among the other icons which are currently available. You’ll find them all bunched together for 10 or 5 Platinum Points apiece.
