Nintendo Switch 2 gamers have been urged to change this visual setting that will give the system an immediate graphics boost.

The Nintendo Switch 2 has been out for just under a couple of weeks now, and by all accounts, it seems those who were able to pick up the system are having a great time with it.

In our review of the Nintendo Switch 2, GAMINGbible’s Ewan said: “My favourite console ever, but bigger and better? I couldn’t ask for much more.”

The newly released Nintendo console has a whole host of improvements over its 2017 predecessor, such as a larger and more durable screen, Joy-Con 2 magnetic connection, additional USB-C ports and more.

Yet, the most important improvements made to the Nintendo Switch 2 are the graphics and performance boost. Even last-gen games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have had quite a significant upgrade on the new system.

However, you can give all your games a graphics boost on the Nintendo Switch 2, as brought to our attention by Twitter user KirPinkFury via the YouTube channel, HDTV Test.

Firstly, visit settings via the Nintendo Switch 2 home screen and select to adjust HDR. Now, turn the sun screen left to make it go black. After that, click 58 times (even when the sun on the left has disappeared).

Finally, when in the paper white screen, adjust the slider all the way to the left, and then move the slider just six times to the right. Job done. Your games should look a little bit nicer on the Nintendo Switch 2.

“You truly never leave any stone unturned when it comes to digging into HDR details. I don't even plan on getting a Switch 2, and I watched this all the way through,” said MustafaKhan-hg8lu, replying to the video from HDTV Test.

“Most underrated channel on YouTube,” declared XiaOmegaX.

So, if you’ve not changed the settings as recommended by HDTV Test, you might want to get that done today to ensure that you’re getting the most out of your Nintendo Switch 2.
