In the mood for more Fallout 4? Then the Caves Of The Commonwealth expansion might be just what you’re looking for.

Fallout 4 is definitely not the best Fallout game, with the top spot undoubtedly going to Fallout: New Vegas, but it is a damn good one, and it’s made even better with mods.

Check out Starfield below, out now!

One of the reasons Fallout 4 is so good and has stood the test of time has to be the unlimited potential it has for mods. This is only bolstered by Bethesda’s decision to allow mods on Xbox and PlayStation versions of the game thanks to Creation Club, first introduced in Fallout 4 and would go on to become a core part of future titles, like Starfield.

Ever since, the community has gone wild creating incredibly impressive mods that fix broken parts of the game, improve its graphics and framerate, or create entirely new adventures for your wasteland wanderer to embark on.

One such adventure is Fallout 4: Caves Of The Commonwealth, a small expansion that packs a lot of punch, especially considering it’s a free download.

Created by shreddah4, the mod does what it says on the tin and adds five new caves to explore in Fallout 4, totalling about 2-4 hours of new content depending on how long it takes you to fight through them all.

In each cave, you’ll find new gear, skill checks, and even a few side objectives to complete if you’re up for it.

They’re also very easy to find. If you’re a true explorer you could wander the wasteland and look for them by yourself, or go to the first cave just north of Vault 111 (the starting area) and collect a map that’ll lead you to the rest of the locations.

Be warned though, the caves will be filled with dangers, so if you’re up for the challenge you can download the expansion via NexusMods.

I like Red Dead Redemption 2 for the most part, but this feature would annoy me so much if they brought it back for GTA VI.
