Oh, we are relieved!

The Elder Scrolls VI is a mysterious game right now.

So much is being discussed about the next Elder Scrolls adventure, yet solid details about gameplay, features, etc are difficult to find.

Rumours regarding the size of the open world Bethesda is said to be creating have divided fans.

Not to mention countless other tidbits of speculation that have consistently caused heated debates among fans.

Fortunately, this gameplay teaser has reassured players rather than worried them.

It makes for a nice change of pace.

An article shared on Reddit has given fans hope that The Elder Scrolls VI isn’t going to change their approach to its RPGs just because of successful titles like Baldur’s Gate 3.

Larian’s game stuck to a traditionally “fiddly” approach when it comes to skill trees, which had led some Elder Scrolls fans to panic that such features would make their way into the next Bethesda game.

Yet, as far as Bethesda’s Todd Howard is concerned, these complex details won’t change how The Elder Scrolls VI tackles its skills/perks.

Fans believe that this is confirmation that the ‘perk trees’ we recognise from Skyrim will return in the new RPG.

“Todd Howard has made it abundantly clear that his personal game philosophies are centred around immersive sims and not classic RPG ‘spreadsheet-like’ numbers and stats,” explained Xilvereight, “Perk trees are probably a given.”

Even gamers who don’t particularly love Bethesda’s creative decisions still respect the brand for sticking to its guns.

“It's something I really respect about them and why I always defend their design choices [...] I love that they're not just making whatever is popular right now and doing their own thing,” posted Boyo-Sh00k.

Someone else shared, “People within the broader gaming community like to say that Baldur's Gate 3 puts Bethesda and Starfield to shame [...] both companies make vastly different types of RPGs.”

Whether you agree with this latest Elder Scrolls VI teaser or not, it certainly brings comfort to fans who were concerned that newer RPGs would dramatically alter what we know and love about the Elder Scrolls series.
